He studied painting techniques at the Massana School in Barcelona, and completed and perfected his studies in New York, where he obtained a doctorate in engravings, murals and photography.

Although he specialises in ecclesiastical painting, he has also been a prestigious illustrator for publications such as El Periódico, Avui, La Mañana and cover artist for Anagrama, Galaxia Gutemberg and other publishers. Sculpture, the restoration of altarpieces and stained glass windows complete his extensive expressiveness.

Winner of several prizes, his work can be found in national and international private collections.

His treatment of colours, plus the prevailing use of oil on canvas or wood, give his works a serene neo-baroque depth.
